Crafting Weather

I can't even describe how much I love the fall! I am always in the best mood this time of year! What is there NOT to love about it?! Rain storms, chilly weather, coffee and chai tea by the fire... Sweater weather and boots :)... Oh and who could forget the one thing I love most about it... HOLIDAYS AND CRAFTS! :) I love the holiday season! I smile daily during this time of year! Even more so when I can hang out and listen to music while I daze off into another dimension that only exists of hot glue, fabric, paints, and anything else I can get my hands on to make a project come to life! :) Aaahhh... I have a feeling I am going to be lost in my craft world this year more than ever! I can't wait! :)

The window of opportunity!!!!!! :)

HI ALL!!!! Welcome to my blog!!!!! I am so excited to start this blog I can't even stand it! I hope you all can be patient with me while I get this thing up and running! I'm young, but not always Internet and hyperlink savvy! :) I'm excited to share my love for crafts with the world! It's therapeutic for me when I can draw something out in my head and apply it to real life. It's always so rewarding in the end to see the finished product!

The picture below was the first project that I started when I began one of the most important chapters in my life. I have always loved old barn wood and windows so when I saw this one on KSL, I had to have it! I originally bough two, but didn't realize how big they actually were! So now the other is being sold here shortly after I finish it! I love it because the only thing I had to do (other than vacuum out all the old spider sacks and webs and spray with spider killer) was apply modge podge and matte spray to the top of it in order to keep the paint from chipping. The windows and wood frame already came like that!!!... AND I figured it was the PERFECT backdrop for my "DREAM" sign that made. Also, in the middle of the salmon pink 9 inch wreath is a heart frame that I bought at the thrift store for .50 and wrapped it in hemp twine.. I think it all goes together very nicely and for now can be left alone.

I hope you all come back! I promise to keep this blog updated as regularly as possible! I have so much creative energy that it's bursting at the seams right now! So until next time... have a wonderful day! :)
